I am pleased to represent Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep. Thanks to Heather Myers for this opportunity.
Hey that was fun. Mum and I just watched the channel 6 news piece. It was weird to see myself on TV. I think I needed more makeup??
Love this one…my Mum is visiting from Canada and I just ‘caught’ her stealing this piece off the wall!!!! No kidding!
Can’t wait! Channel 6 is coming for an interview this morning at that house. I’ve cleaned from top to bottom, and have all the art hung, ready and waiting…wish me luck.
Heard back form Mission Art Walk. They have reached their limit on photog’s. Drag. This rainy day is going to be best spent at the computer, creating a nice Holiday Card for all of my cool clients. I’d like to shoot something new for it….maybe we can get the rain to stop for just a bit – OR maybe I can shoot in the rain….ohhh there’s an idea!
This image was created on a whim. I wasn’t sure the water would adhere to the bristles of the bottle brush branch but it did, and in quite a jazzy way I think. I’ve sold it as Christmas cards already. The red at the top?…red bowl. tee hee
Tried to shoot purple ice plant today. The light was awesome but the petals were too slippery and it wouldn’t take the water drops. They just kept sliding down into puddles on the floor…live and learn. Tomorrow, research on art reps.
The Old Town Art Festival was a huge success. Framed prints sold really well, as did the loose ones. Looks like art fairs / festivals may be the way to go. Thanks to my assistant Denise for hauling and rehauling stuff and to Dave, my web dude for putting in a full day at the booth.
The kind folks at NBC San Diego interviewed me (and my charming assistant, daughter Jordan) as part of a segment promoting this weekend’s Old Town San Diego Art Festival, where I’ll be selling prints of my latest fine art images.

This image has such a cool story. It was shot on Freeman Patterson’s property and it’s the rain covered window of an old vintage car – with turquoise interior. Ahhh back in the day when they had style eh!
